The degree of oxidative stress is shown by staining for 4-HNE using immunohistochemistry. Mice were fed the ND (a, c, e, g) or HFD (b, d, f, h) for 25 weeks. The mice were treated with 0 (a, b), 100 (c, d), 200 (e, f), and 300 (g, h) mg of SNPs kg−1 mouse body weight twice per week. The CV is indicated. Scale bars are 100 μm (a–h). The percentage of positive 4-HNE staining/area was analyzed by Image-Pro (i). Data are expressed as the means ± standard error of the means (n = 6)
